JSM's "125 international peer reviewed journals" are a "platform for all the researchers, scientists, doctors, students to update with the latest advancements in Science, Technology & Medicine." One report indicates that it uses dummy addresses in the US to mask its location in India. You too can have its San Diego office suite for an address. JSM advertises that "Our quality control team will help to analyze the quality of the manuscripts as per international standards." Apparently, English (or law?) is not part of the standards, as the next sentence on the webpage reads "Plagiarism is a crime, thus avoid plagiarism as we aim to harbor the Journal free from the malpractice ." Some of its spam states that "This is not a spam message and has been sent to you because of your eminence in the field." The message was from the Journal of Family Medicine and Community Health.
